Meet ACA-NJ Lobbyist Claudine Leone
On
May 10, 2006 the ACA-NJ Board of Directors
hired Claudine Leone, Esq., an attorney with
more than 13 years of experience in lobbying
and regulatory issues, as a Government Affairs
Consultant for ACA-New Jersey.
A resident of Moorestown, where she lives
with her husband and two sons, Claudine began
her legal career as a member of the Princeton
Public Affairs Group, Inc., Trenton’s
largest lobbying firm. There she worked with
a wide range of clients in the healthcare,
insurance, pharmaceutical, biotechnology
and transportation industries. She then became
a Government Affairs associate with the law
firm of Jamieson, Moore, Piskin and Spicer
in Princeton, and in 2002 founded her own
consulting firm, IRIS Communications.
While Claudine has achieved great professional
success serving corporate clients,
she says her deepest satisfaction comes from
working with nonprofit groups and associations.
Claudine works closely with the ACA Legislative
Committee and Board of Directors to strategize
plans of action that address issues identified
by the membership. Claudine utilizes her
relationships with key policymakers in Trenton
to introduce ACA-member camps in various
districts and regions. For more information,
visit the Site
Visit Program.
While Congress is in session, Claudine provides
comprehensive monitoring of all legislation
and proposed regulations impacting the camp
industry. ACA-NJ members can be assured
that any proposals that may negatively impact
our industry will be immediately addressed.
Claudine also attends hearings on legislation
of interest to ACA-NJ and advises the board
and Legislative Committee on the outcomes.
Claudine and the ACA Legislative Committee
welcome your input. You can drop Claudine
an email at Claudine@acacampsnj.org.
